Bishkek, Jan. 10, 2021. /Kabar/. As of 6:00 p.m., the turnout at the referendum was 33.08%, Chairwoman of Kyrgyzstan’s Central Election Commission Nurzhan Shaildabekova said at a press conference on Sunday.

She specified that 1 million 178 thousand 656 people voted at the referendum.
Thus, the referendum can be recognized as valid. According to the law, it is considered valid if the turnout is more than 30%.
The following are data of the CEC by regions:
- In Bishkek city – 31,49%;
- In Osh city – 37,49%;
- In Dzhalal-Abad Oblast – 33,60%;
- In Issyk-Kul Oblast – 39,09%;
- In Naryn Oblast – 36,29%;
- In Osh Oblast – 33,97%;
- In Talas Oblast – 31,30%;
- In Chui Oblast – 28,26%;
- In Batken Oblast – 33,99%;
- Abroad – 19,95%.
