Bishkek, July 10, 2024. /Kabar/. The volume of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign and mutual trade in goods in January-May 2024 amounted to about 6.5 billion US dollars, First Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee Nazira Kerimalieva told at a briefing.
According to her data, the figure increased by 18.6% compared to January-May 2023, while export supplies increased by 4.8%, and import receipts by 21.7%.
“The volume of mutual trade between the Kyrgyz Republic and the EAEU member states in January-May 2024 amounted to about 1.8 billion US dollars and decreased by 0.4% compared to January-May 2023.
The largest share of the republic’s mutual trade during this period was with Russia - 72.8% and Kazakhstan 25.2%,” she said.
