Bishkek, April 12, 2022. / Kabar /. The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of Kyrgyzstan in January-February 2022 amounted to $1.3 billion, Bakytbek Shokenov, the Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee said at a press conference in Bishkek.
This figure increased by 1.6 times in comparison with January-February 2021, with exports grew by 3.8% and imports - 1.9 times.
"The volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the corresponding period amounted to $ 563 million and increased by 38.5% compared to January-February 2021. Meanwhile, exports increased by 41.1%, imports - by 37.7%,” the deputy head of the National Statistical Committee noted.
Russia accounted for the largest share of mutual trade of the republic with EAEU member states 0 (71.5%) and Kazakhstan (26.7%)," Bakytbek Shokenov added.
