In January-February 2021, volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of the Kyrgyz Republic amounted to $800 million and decreased by 18.3% compared to January-February 2020, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Orosbayev said at a press conference on Tuesday.
He added that exports decreased by 25.5% and imports - by 15%.
"The volume of mutual trade of the Kyrgyz Republic with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January-February 2021 made about $393 million, and decreased by 12.9% compared to January-February 2020. At the same time, exports fell by 17.1% and imports decreased by 11.6%. Russia (68.7%) and Kazakhstan (29.3%) accounted for the largest share of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with EAEU countries," Orosbayev summarized.
