Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2023. / Kabar /. Airports "Osh", "Jalal-Abad" and "Isfana" in the south of Kyrgyzstan are closed until 17.00. The runways are being cleared of snow.
According to the weather forecast, it will snow until 00.00 on January 12. At times, vertical and horizontal visibility may deteriorate to 200 and 60 meters, respectively.
At the Osh airport, snow began on the afternoon of January 10 and continues to the present. During this time, visibility was constantly changing in the range from 550 to 3600 meters. Continuous low cloudiness keeps at around 330-360 meters. From 14:00 on January 10 to 9:00 on January 11, 23 cm of snow fell. There is dry snow on the runway, ice under it, the Civil Aviation Agency said.
