Bishkek, April 11, 2021. / Kabar / . As of 12 a.m., according to data from automatic ballot boxes, the Central Elections Commission of Kyrgyzstan said on Sunday.
Thus, 465 thousand 121 voters voted in the referendum.
Referendum turnout by region of the republic:
- Bishkek - 9.95%;
- Osh - 19.05%;
- Jalal-Abad Oblast - 15.14%;
- Issyk-Kul Oblast - 12.40%;
- Naryn Oblast - 14.54%;
- Osh Oblast - 13,77%;
- Talas Oblast - 13,66%;
- Chui Oblast - 10,13%;
- Batken Oblast - 13.54%;
- abroad - 3.32%.
A referendum to determine the form of government in Kyrgyzstan was held on Jan. 10 of this year, along with the early presidential elections. Then the presidential form of government was supported by 81.49 percent of voters. After that, a Constitutional Counsel was created, which developed a new draft of the Constitution.
