Bishkek, April 12, 2024 / Kabar/. The economic growth of Kyrgyzstan in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 8.8%, excluding the Kumtor deposit - 9.8%, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov told.
According to him, this indicator indicates the effectiveness of the policy of accelerating the pace of development under the leadership of President Sadyr Zhaparov.
“These are not just numbers. This is the result of the hard work of the president's team over the past three years. We are on the right path, and our task is to maintain the trajectory, move forward, giving priority to increasing public investment and developing human capital. Our goal is to create a sustainable future for Kyrgyzstan, where every citizen will have the opportunity to realize their potential,” he said.
In comparison with the indicators for the first quarter of 2023, the growth rate is 3 times higher.
