Bishkek, Jan.28, 2020 /Kabar/. For 11 months of 2019, Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover in agriculture and processing increased by 17.1%, compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $ 889.4 million, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation Amangeldi Isayev told reporters.
"In January-November 2019, agricultural, food and processing industry products were exported for KGS 17 billion 822 million, compared with the same period last year, an increase of 26.4% was noted," said the deputy minister.
The country’s exports indicators are:
- Livestock products for KGS 876 million, which is 23.8% more than last year;
- Plant production exported for the amount of KGS 8 billion 579 million, in comparison with the index of 2018 there is an increase by 33,2%;
- Products of food and processing industry for KGS 8 billion 376 million, which is more than in 2018 by 15.9%.
"For January-November 2019, the share of exports of agricultural and processing industry products in total volume was 14.7%, while in 2018 this share reached 12.9%," Amangeldi Isayev said.
In addition, the deputy economy minister said agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan are exported to 75 countries around the world, including Turkey, Germany, Iran, Bulgaria, countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, etc.
