Volume of paid services in Tajikistan amounts to over USD 1.1B

Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . In the first ten months of 2021, the volume of paid services in Tajikistan through all sales channels exceeded TJS 12.1 billion (more than $1 billion), Avesta news agency reported.

The figure represents an 11.6% increase over the corresponding period in 2020.

According to the Statistics Agency of the republic, paid services accounted for 77.2%, or TJS 9.4 billion out of the total volume of services.

In terms of services per capita, Dushanbe leads compared to other regions. Thus, the volume of services in the capital city is 5.7 times higher than the national average.

The State Agency of Tajikistan also reported that in January-October of this year, the turnover of public catering, including services of hotels and restaurants, amounted to over TJS 1.2 billion ($107.4 million), 24.1% more than in the same period of 2020.
